PARK CAMPUS

Our 12-acre Park Campus is a waterfront gem, housing hiking trails, a public paddle-craft launch, our bustling educational center and our newest venue!

Events
  • The new Merrill Family Pavilion is nestled between wooded hiking trails and the historic waterworks building.
  • Our newest venue boasts a huge fireplace, exquisite craftsmanship and room to spread out and celebrate, all in a serene waterfront location.
  • Whether it’s a wedding, corporate events, birthday or the September Sunsets Concert series, the pavilion is a perfect location.
Education
  • Our popular year-round education programs take place at the Park Campus.
  • The additional campus has allowed AMM to continue to significantly expand its programs with a goal to serve 15,000 adults and children annually by 2025.
  • We host birthday parties, summer camps, field trips and our Box of Rain programs all in this urban oasis.
History and Heritage
  • The waterworks building located next to the Merrill Family Pavilion has been painstakingly restored and converted to classrooms and offices for our education program.
  • Over 1 mile of clamshell walking trails boast views of Back Creek while a kayak and canoe launch offers public water access to all.
Looking Forward
  • Plans to expand include a maritime-themed playground, a public kayak kiosk, a new Maritime Education Center and a nature-based preschool.
