Looking for a fun AND educational spot for your child’s next birthday party? Join the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park for a Birthday on the Bay! Explore the nature trails and secluded shoreline of our Park Campus during our adventure-filled parties. Each birthday party includes one hour of hands-on activities led by Education staff and one hour for traditional birthday fun. All parties also include a take-home craft.

Birthday parties can be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. For more information or to book a party, email us, call us at 410-295-0104 ext. 29 or fill out the form below.

Book Your Party

All birthday parties are located at our Park Campus at 7300 Edgewood Road, Annapolis, MD 21403

  • Fee – AMM Members: $320; Nonmembers: $375
  • Deposit of $75 due to reserve party date
  • Basic party fee covers up to 18 children
  • Additional children are welcome for $10 per additional child
  • Maximum number of children: 24
  • AMM will provide party room, tables, chairs, garbage receptacles, and refrigerator
  • Party hosts will provide decorations, tablecloths, food, plates, utensils, etc.
  • 30 minutes for set up and 15 minutes for clean up will be provided

Nature Arts

Let your creativity run wild! Party guests will create a nature portrait or other nature inspired art using sticks, leaves, rocks, and other nature materials they discover at our park campus.

Creepy Crawlies

Party guests will never look at creepy crawly critters the same way again! Discover the mysterious hiding places and amazing adaptations of the slimy, squishy, hairy, and scaly animals of the Park. Join as we catch and identify a variety of these creepy critters.

Fishing Fiesta

Grab a net and a pair of boots as we discover the marine life of Back Creek. Children will get wet and muddy as they wade through the water while trying their hand at catching fish, shrimp, crabs, and more!

Pirates of the Chesapeake

Head out on our nature trails in search of hidden clues that will help you discover where the Pirates of the Chesapeake have hidden their buried treasure. Along the way, party guests will learn about the real-life pirates who sailed the Bay.

Add Ons: Mermaid or Princess: Add a little mermaid magic or Princess pizazz to the party mix. The mermaid and princess package can be added to the Pirates of the Chesapeake theme. Mermaid and Princess related items such as mermaid tails, Tiaras, Wands, Necklaces Sea creatures, and colorful diamonds will be added to the treasure hunt loot.
