Support Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park (AMM)
Donations to the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park (AMM) help to further our mission to educate students and adults about Annapolis’ rich maritime heritage and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay, inspiring environmental stewards for future generations.
Your support provides the financial resources AMM needs to operate our award-winning programs from our state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits to our outdoor field experiences, and resource and collections library. All gifts are 100% tax-deductible as allowable by the law.
Donate Today and Support What Is Most Meaningful To You!
Where the Needs Are Greatest: Your unrestricted contribution allows AMM to place the funds where they are needed the most. Unrestricted gifts allow us to support our most urgent needs.
Support our environmental education program to ensure that pre-K through middle school students receive high-quality, meaningful environmental experiences to meet mandated environmental literacy standards. Through our comprehensive suite of youth programs, AMM connects young students with their local environment through hands-on learning to foster a strong environmental ethic and sense of stewardship.
Support from community stakeholders like you helps us to provide the camp experience for our youngsters that will create memories that will last a lifetime and inspire them to be life-long environmental stewards of our precious natural resources. A contribution of $400 earmarked for our summer camp program can enable one student to participate in a one-week camp or you can send two children from one family for $800. We hope you will consider a contribution.
Box of Rain
The Wilma Lee is a tremendous community resource. Your contribution goes well beyond preserving a rare, historic vessel—it’s an investment in a floating classroom that captivates and educates audiences of all ages about the rich heritage of working on the Chesapeake Bay. Learners of all ages are invited to experience our region’s rich maritime heritage through stories of the explorers, entrepreneurs, tradesmen, families, women, tribes, and blue-collar workers who built our waterfront communities.
Collections and Resource Library
AMMʼs Research Library consists of over 1,500 books and periodicals about the local maritime history and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. Your contribution to AMM’s Collections and Archives ensures the preservation of our most cherished artifacts, including oral histories and photographs, by providing essential resources.
