Youth utilize STEAM skills to construct a boat from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit. Participants receive free breakfast and lunch.

Provide a full scholarship for a local under-resourced youth to our 12 week Build-a-Boat program. The experience focuses on the practical application of academics and appropriate work area behavior, craftsmanship, and team building. Youth utilize STEAM skills to construct a boat from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit. Participants receive free breakfast and lunch and get to paddle the boat around Back Creek at the end!
