Molly Owens

Molly Owens-Board Member

Molly Owens studied Political Science at Frostburg University and completed graduate work at Loyola University of MD before building a career in management within the legal and criminal justice fields, focusing on specialty courts addressing substance abuse issues. Married into the Owens family, founders of the Owens Yacht Company, she and her husband have worked to preserve maritime history, including contributing exhibits to regional museums and donating a restored Owens boat to the Thousand Islands Maritime Museum. As a docent and trained Chesapeake Storyteller at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, Molly shares the area’s rich maritime history with visitors aboard the Wilma Lee. A lifelong Annapolitan, she is passionate about AMM’s role in the community and remains committed to supporting its mission.
