Eric Rubin

 Eric Rubin – Board Member

Eric first joined the Board in 2005, serving as Chairman for eight years from 2010-2018.  As Chairman, Eric revitalized management of the  Museum, broadening and enlarging the Board membership  and by recruiting Alice Estrada as Executive Director. Among other accomplishments during Eric’s his tenure, the Museum experienced its major expansion into the Annapolis Maritime Museum and Park by securing a long term lease agreement with the City that brought the twelve acre Ellen Moyer Environmental Center under the Museum’s control which led to the development of that property into the center for  AMMP education programs and as an event venue.   As Chairman, Eric was instrumental in the Museum’s acquisition of its historic skipjak, the Wilma Lee. Eric currently serves on the Board’s Governance and Wilma Lee Committees.   Eric retired in 2021 after practicing law in Washington D.C. for 55 years.
