The Buchanan Bay Room Gallery provides a wonderful waterfront venue for local artists and art organizations to exhibit their work.
The art gallery offers approximately 88 linear feet of well-lit, air-conditioned exhibition space for two-dimensional artwork. The shows are all Maritime or Chesapeake Bay-themed to complement the mission of the Museum and generally run for 6-8 weeks. Displayed art is for sale with partial proceeds benefiting the Museum.

Future Art Exhibits at the Annapolis Maritime Museum:
Jay Fleming will be the exclusive artist of the Buchanan Bay Room Gallery in 2018.
About Jay: Though beginning under the tutelage of his father, former National Geographic photographer, Kevin Fleming, Jay quickly and naturally developed a photographic style and identity all his own. Through experimentation, an incredible amount of patience & preparation, and countless hours spent researching potential photo opportunities, Jay began to capture such awe-inspiring photos as his pair of underwater Yellowstone Cutthroat trout, the last house on Holland Island reflecting in the rippling water just before it collapsed, and a fleet of wooden Skipjacks against an ominous grey sky.
