Description of Object:
A photograph of two markers. The marker on the left reads "Pearl M. McNasby" and 1888-1959. The marker on the right reads "William J. McNasby" with no dates beneath the name. Presumably, this marker is for her husband, who at the time of the photograph had not yet passed.

About the Object:
In 1973, William Jr. willed the business to his friend John W. Turner and his wife Mary Lou, having not had children of his own. Mac passed on April 14th, 1973 of heart failure.

More Information:
Turner continued the business through the seventies, though the Cantler brothers (primary supplier of oysters to McNasby's) reported a decline in oyster harvests in April of 1975. By 1986, John Turner sells the business to waterfront developers.
