One of Ellen Moyer's notable contributions to the city was her support for The Annapolis Maritime Museum, which began as the Eastport Historical Committee. The Barge House Museum that she talks about in this interview is where the museum began, before expanding into the McNasby Oyster House, the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse, and the Ellen O. Moyer Back Creek Nature Park.
