The Museum Tour & Paddle is offered in partnership with Capital SUP. These tours leave at 10 a.m. from Capital SUP located at the Museum’s Park Campus, the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park, and last for a total of 2 hours, returning at 12 p.m.
These tours are offered monthly and leave from Capital SUP (7314 Edgewood Road Annapolis, MD 21403).
Paddle over to the Annapolis Maritime Museum, the site of the last historic oyster packing plant in the area, the McNasby Oyster Company. There you will join an experienced guide for a tour of the new permanent exhibit Our Changing Waterfront. Explore traditional Bay workboats in the museum’s beachside park, catch of glimpse of the historic skipjack Wilma Lee, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay. Our hands-on approach to history will take you on a journey to uncover the rich maritime history of Annapolis. The guided tour lasts 30 minutes with an additional half-hour for self-guided discovery.
