Our new temporary exhibit is a collaboration with the Annapolis Marine Art Gallery and The Collection of Dr. George and Joan Schonholtz to present exquisite maritime works from across the nation. The paintings show scenes of vessels, maritime scenery, and the Chesapeake Bay. Dr. George and Joan Schonholtz were prolific collectors of maritime art with a majority of their collection focusing on the Chesapeake Bay. Their collection donated to the Annapolis Maritime Museum includes the artwork of renowned artists John Barber, Paul Landry, William Stille, and Ben Neil.
John Barber prints are also available for purchase. Revenue from purchased works is split between the Museum and the Marine Art Gallery
Viewing is available with museum admission during regular hours: 10-3, Tuesday-Sunday
