Zack Hoisington -Director of Education and Partnerships 

Passionate about education, environmental stewardship, and outdoor exploration, Zack brings a diverse skill set to his work. With six years of experience as an educator, he has cultivated strong communication and organizational skills crucial for impactful engagement. In his previous role at Upstream Alliance, he has spearheaded the development and management of a diverse funding portfolio. By cultivating relationships with individual, foundational, corporate, and government funders, he has ensured the sustainability of operations and the advancement of campaign goals. In collaboration with Upstream Alliance, Zack co-developed the Camden Education Program, which provides underserved students in Camden, New Jersey, with immersive on-water educational experiences. This initiative not only enriches their academic journey but also fosters a deeper connection to the natural world. Beyond his role in education, Zack has spent seven years as a fly fishing guide across diverse landscapes in Colorado, Maryland, and Virginia. This experience has instilled in him a profound appreciation for waterways and their preservation, driving his commitment to environmental advocacy.
