Louisa Engle-

VP of Programs & Community Engagement

Louisa Engle is a proven Servant Leader with 17 years’ experience in program management, leadership and corporate sustainability. She was born in Philadelphia, PA but spent most of her youth living in a Civil War Era house on Pickett’s Charge in Gettysburg National Park and a 100-year-old farmhouse in rural Virgina near Shenandoah National Park. Growing up surrounded by such incredible history and natural beauty helped instill in her a love of both environmental conservation and the stories that the land has to tell. With her previous employer, she led large teams and projects, developed her leadership style, and deepened her knowledge of communications and mentoring and developing. Louisa graduated from Wakefield School in The Plains, VA and moved on to study photography at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has lived in Eastport for the last decade and in her spare time enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking and exploring new places to eat with her husband. She has two young children and is hoping to add a dog to the mix this year.
